Process

Rebranding Logo and name

Upon initiation of this project, I identified a misalignment between the existing logo and the brand’s essence. Following numerous iterations, I arrived at satisfaction with the two variations presented below. Additionally, a strategic decision was made to rebrand from “G.T. Butterfly House & Bug Zoo” to “Roach’s Micro Zoo.” Research into the zoo revealed that the owner’s last name is Roach, presenting an opportune moment to align the zoo’s identity with the proprietor’s name.

Touch points

These touchpoints effectively reinforce the brand’s vision. They encompass pens, signage, tote bags, tickets, storefront flags, and field note journals.

Zoo App


Developed using Figma, this application was designed to enhance guests’ personal interaction with the zoo. The refined experience not only fosters a welcoming environment but also serves as an additional avenue for educating guests about the significance of the exhibited critters.

The application provides current information on upcoming news and events hosted by the zoo. Additionally, it features a dedicated section for users to explore detailed insights about the various critters residing in the zoo

The concept behind the challenges aimed to encourage guests to actively seek out the critters. Successful completion of these challenges would result in guests receiving a complimentary gift upon their departure.

Finally, the application features a section dedicated to the guest’s personal profile and the photographs they captured using the app.
